Strives to bring the world to the door of disabled and elderly, either by actual travel throughout the USA and other parts of the world - or by articles in its quarterly magazine. Members are eligible for discounted tours, tours planned to fit the disabled and the older person who wishes a slower pace. Read the history written by their quadriplegic vice president and associate editor. Non-profit organization. Completely volunteer. They visit with our government officials in foreign countries, as well as the VIPs of the country visited, disabled groups, families, etc. They have members in many places to help with planning. Tours are group tours only. Not a travel agent, but a travel club. Cannot plan independent touring. Provides advisory, biblio-graphical, historical, how-to, referral, and some technical and trade information. Offers aid in arranging interviews, annual reports, brochures/pamphlets, regular informational magazine and press kits for members. Publications include Horizons Handi-Cap magazine (quarterly) and HCH History.
