Travel Magazines for the Disabled
Robert S. Zywicki Publishes a magazine called The Itinerary that he describes as "the world's only magazine geared to the Special needs of travelers with disabilities." Contains facts on destinations, guides, transportation and tour operators who specialize in services for the disabled Zywicki has rheumatoid arthritis. Travel-Holiday Magazine is providing a program to sensory impaired and home bound disabled people through the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Each month, Travel-Holiday is recorded on discs that are then sent to more than 6,000 subscribers (if you or someone you know might qualify for the program, contact the service c/o the Library of Congress, Washington, DC 20542). Travel-Holiday occasionally contains articles for the disabled traveler.
