C Hand controls are seldom available on cars rented overseas, However, Auto Europe, a car-rental agency, is providing free hand controls for disabled persons renting its cars in England and will help install such controls in Europe if the driver supplies his or her own hand or foot devices. A specially equipped RV may be a good choice for some disabled travelers. Hand controls and wheelchair-assist features can be installed. The RV can simultaneously solve many transportation and housing problems. RV dealers have information about companies making special RV's for wheelchair travelers.
